I am also having this issue with two out of my three remotes. One is only a few months old while the other we’ve had for awhile. Tried re-pairing and resetting and still have the same issue. One of the serial numbers is

Hi @jcostel,
Thanks for keeping us posted!
Please be advised that your Roku voice remotes are connected to a network connection for the voice command feature to work. In this case, it is normal for the battery to drain within a span period of 2 - 3 months even if you seldom use it because it is still connected to a network connection.
You can actually use our Roku mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote. It also has a voice command feature and private listening that works well with all of Roku's streaming devices/TVs.
Here's our Support article to help you How to install the Roku mobile app.
If you need further assistance and clarification, please don't hesitate to let us know!
Thanks,
Carly

We have the 4K+, which is the device I provided the serial number for. And we are using the remote it came with. We are not using it in private listening mode.
Any help you can offer to remedy this is appreciated.
I also have a 4k+ and am having the same issue. I’m constantly recharging the remote now, almost nightly.
Thank you for your post,
We wanted to let you know that we've passed along your information to our Support team. They will reach out to you to assist you further. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. We’re happy to help!

Also having same problem with 5 streaming stick remotes. Batteries last only 2 or 3 months. One of the remotes is seldom used and the batteries still die in 2 to months. The other ones are only used a couple hours a day and normally just to turn on the TV and change a channel.
Models are RC399, RC786, RC128, RC128, RC128 These are the model numbers when I do settings/remotes/about.
If I remove the batteries, model numbers are as follows:
3 are Models RC-AL2 SKU 3226000294
1 is Model RC- FA1, 3226001238
1 is Model RC- EL1, 3226000674
Couldn't find any serial numbers.
About ready to trash all 5 and change to Amazon Fire Stick.

Yes, I have been changing the batteries for the last 2 years and they only last 2 to 3 months.
Do you know the timeframe for the support team to reach out? I haven’t heard anything yet. Thank you

Your response would be much appreciated.
