The remotes are mainly used for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple hours at night, except for one of them which is used every 4 or 5 days for a couple of hours. There is no difference in the one that is used less - battery still drains after 2 or 3 months. We do not do much channel surfing. Once we turn on the TV it typically stays on the same one or two channels until turned off.
Hi @jcostel,
Thanks for keeping us posted!
Please be advised that your Roku voice remotes are connected to a network connection for the voice command feature to work. In this case, it is normal for the battery to drain within a span period of 2 - 3 months even if you seldom use it because it is still connected to a network connection.
You can actually use our Roku mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote. It also has a voice command feature and private listening that works well with all of Roku's streaming devices/TVs.
Here's our Support article to help you How to install the Roku mobile app.
If you need further assistance and clarification, please don't hesitate to let us know!
Thanks,
Carly
