If you do not have access to the email currently registered with your Roku account because of the misspelled Roku account email address, I'd recommend reaching out to our support team directly here for your 'Account or billing' issue, here: https://support.roku.com/contactus. I was told yesterday by a roku c.s. operator that it was not possible to simply change the email address and forced us to create a new account that caused a lot of frustration for us. She wasn’t interested in hearing what we wanted to do and just pushed us through. When I tried to change the email address myself per website instructions it froze every time and wouldn’t let me complete the process. If I weren’t so invested in roku I’d leave them

I'm trying to do this too (change email address) and I am unable to do it. I'm changing it because I am closing the old email account and will not have access to it.

I have changed my email on my account last year however on my device under system it still shows an incorrect email. How do I change that?
Hey @RealtorAngie918, thanks for sharing about this. We see that your old email still shows up on your device after updating. Let's look into this.
Could you do a system restart for us? Go to Settings > System > System restart.
You can also log into https://my.roku.com/index and scroll to the bottom. You should be able to see your linked devices to that email address.

I did this. Think it changed on my account but not tv. Can no longer use origional email. Hsve no idea what pass word was
