My connection went out after years of being connected. Tried everything it said do. Restart router, restart Roku ect. But after restarting Roku a screen comes on that says installing updates and doesn't progress 0% .Then goes back to unable to connect. I've read some comments about this but too complicated for me to understand.

I had the same problem on my Roku 3 (model 4230X). Restarting didn't help. What fixed it was going to the network settings, and discovering it was set for wireless. Changed that to "Wired", and the update completed within a few seconds. No further problem. Software now version 12.5.0, build 4182-04.
I am having same problem out of nowhere...have not changed any equipment or network equipment.. tried rebooting everything with no success

For us to best assist you, we will need more information about the issue you are experiencing. May we know what Roku device you are using right now? (e.g., Roku Express, Roku Streambar, Roku TV—specify TV) Who is your internet service provider? (ISP) In addition, are you encountering any error messages or codes? Could you send us a screenshot?
