Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We value your feedback as our valued customer and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, on various occasions throughout the year, such as Valentine's Day or Halloween, Roku releases seasonal themes that only appear for a short period of time, e.g., 3 days. Your Roku device will automatically display a seasonal theme and automatically switch back after it expires. Seasonal themes are enabled by default. You can disable them using the following instructions: Press Home on your Roku remote. Scroll and select Settings. Select Theme. Select seasonal themes. Select Off to disable seasonal themes (or select On to enable them). Note: this option may be found on some devices under Settings > Wallpapers & Screensavers instead of Settings > Theme. In addition to selecting a theme pack, you can further personalize your Roku device by: Changing the screensaver Setting the name and location of your Roku device Changing the format of the clock Hiding or showing shortcuts Blocking content using parental controls Once again, thank you so much for your feedback; we value your input. Cheers, Chel Re: REMOVE recommended for you on roku home screen Hey everyone, and thanks for posting! You can customize your recommendations now! Go to Settings > Home Screen > Recommendation Rows. If you aren't hearing stereo output, try the following: Ensure the headphone jack is fully inserted. Use the included headphone set or a replacement that can be purchased here. Ensure your headphone set offers stereo compatibility. If the set supports stereo, you should see two bands around the headphone jack, but check the manufacturer's specs to be sure. Have you tried following the troubleshooting steps on our support page to see if it helped resolve the problem? How to fix a channel playback issue. If you cannot play videos from one channel after attempting the suggestions on the link, videos from other channels play fine; contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developers themselves. In this case, an issue within that specific channel likely needs to be addressed with an update from the channel developer. Thanks, Chel Re: tiles repeatedly show up on Home screen Hi ethyss, Thanks for being part of the Roku Community! The ads on your Roku device's home page are usually targeted based on your viewing history and preferences. Roku does provide some options to control the types of ads that are displayed on your home page. Here are some steps you can take: Go to the home screen of your Roku device and select "Settings." Scroll down to "Privacy" and select "Advertising." Select "Limit ad tracking" to limit the type of ads that are displayed. You can also choose to reset your advertising ID, which will clear your viewing history and preferences and start showing you generic ads instead. Additionally, you can try enabling "Kid Mode" on your Roku device, which filters out content that is not appropriate for children. It's also worth noting that some third-party channels may have ads that are not appropriate for children. In these cases, you may want to restrict access to those channels or monitor your child's viewing closely.
