For this issue, we recommend performing a system restart as a workaround. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > Power (skip if no sub-menu) > System Restart.

This happens to be all the time, especially when using YouTube. It went away for a bit, but then has been back with a vengeance today, skipping 2-3 times per press.

Have you tried to perform a system reboot on your Roku streaming player? (Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart) Also, as we checked your account, it seems like there are multiple devices linked. May we know if this happens to all of the remotes connected to it?
Furthermore, could you please confirm if this is the remote that comes with the box? Or is this a replaced remote?

I have restarted and it makes no difference.
I have moved to the Voice remote pro for over a year so that is the only one currently used with it.
