The link in your answer said to do this:
[All Settings] → [General] → [Devices] → [HDMI Settings] → [Simplink (HDMI-CEC)] → [ON].
I couldn't find that menu on my LG TV, but I did find it here:
Settings → Connection → HDMI Device Settings → Simplink (HDMI-CEC) → On
I don't know how it got turned to OFF, because it worked the way it was supposed to for a long time. Maybe it was a firmware update? Anyway, turning the setting to On fixed it!!!! Thanks.
