The link in your answer said to do this:

[All Settings] → [General] → [Devices] → [HDMI Settings] → [Simplink (HDMI-CEC)] → [ON].

I couldn't find that menu on my LG TV, but I did find it here:

Settings → Connection → HDMI Device Settings → Simplink (HDMI-CEC) → On

I don't know how it got turned to OFF, because it worked the way it was supposed to for a long time.  Maybe it was a firmware update?  Anyway, turning the setting to On fixed it!!!!  Thanks.

I am having the same problem.  I have tried the fixes, and the automatic one step was on in the ROKU remote, and the LG I did all the settings in prior posts, e.g. CEC enabled, unchecked home button (choice is last input) still will not work.  I have a 2024 ROKU Ultra and an LG 55"OLED 2024.

You could try unplugging both the TV and Roku for a few minutes. It worked for my Samsung TV and Roku Ultra.
