received a call from a customer rep who informed me that my roku account will be cancelled

Hi, I received a call from a Mike @ 1-888-986-1663 that my roku tv will be cancelled on 10/10.  I have never heard of paying for this. This is a scam, correct?

Has anyone ever received a call from Roku?    I hope to hear from the community.  Thanks, Elizabeth

IT'S A SCAM!!!  There's no way to "cancel" a Roku TV and there's no charge to use a Roku device.  It wasn't Roku that called you!

I just got a text message from 613-305-8764, saying the same thing and advising to call customer service at 888-986-1663.

Received a Text on my Roku Subscription

Hi, I received a text that my Roku subscription will end in 3 days.  To continue your services reply with YES or call customer service at 888 986 1663.  They texted from number 613 305 9184.  I called them but when they went to verify my account they got my name wrong and it didn't make sense as to what they were saying about my account.
