I have a TV on guest mode for one of my Airbnbs and when they select their auto sign out date, they get this message: Oops... There was a problem connecting to the server. Please try again later. Also, when they try to disable guest mode with the pin i give them, they also get that same message This is really annoying and I don't even see this device as one of my linked devices in my account for some reason either. In fact, none of the TVs i put into guest mode remain a linked device in my account and that's been a concern of mine too.16KViews6likes18CommentsStill Not Solved -Roku device Turns Off TV At Startup
Still not Solved: Roku device Turns Off At Startup Our original thread was recently erroneously marked Solved. The person who did that was answering a question we weren't asking, and our original problem remains with no Solution. Here's a link to the original thread, where loads of good pertinent information is provided about the problem: https://community.roku.com/discussions/tv-and-players/roku-device-turns-off-at-startup/1069563?after=MjUuNHwyLjF8aXwxMHwzOToxfGludCwxMDcwMjM2LDEwODgyMTQ AND Here's a copy paste describing the problem for you fresh/here in this thread: "Yes, I am powering Roku Streaming Stick via USB. It has functioned this way just fine for years, right up until that update a few months back. Ever since then, on first use each day, when using my Roku remote to power on my Roku and TV, the TV is shut down just as the Roku homepage is loaded. It's as if the remote sends out a second power command just as the cache is loaded, which turns off the tv. When I power it up again after the forced shut down, everything then stays on as it should. My TV is a Samsung UN55EH6001, and here's a snap of the Roku data you requested." Please Roku technicians, this is not a customer caused problem, it is a software problem caused by the update. Will you help?Solved607Views3likes25Comments'Insufficient power' or 'low power' warning
My Roku has been in use and running fine for several days. Now, the go.roku.com/lowpower warning pops up. The system constantly locks up and the screen show "not connected" in the top right and the remote is unresponsive. It is plugged into the Roku Streaming Stick with the factory USB-C wire AND I added a new USB Power supply to the wall rather than plugging it into the TV. Despite this effort, the Red light keeps flashing on the Roku Stick. Issue: While watching streaming on certain channels, Roku will freeze to complete lock with no input/response registered from remote, followed by automatic reboot. Issue is independent of video quality; only happens with certain apps. Has been happening for last ~30 days. Repro steps: Start streaming any quality content on noted apps Watch stream, anywhere from 45 seconds to 3-4 minutes after video starts video will suddenly freeze. The voise search, or any voice function suddenly stopped working. I already tried recommended troubleshooting, remote and player reset, battery change etc. Is there a way to check microphone of remote if it's working like input level indicator just to make sure it's not the hardware? Most computers have it. It's just frustrating. I don't wanna buy a new remote because it's still working and wanted to make sure that it's hardware related before I buy a new one.34Views2likes1CommentRoku no longer updating
This is getting frustrating. Been using Roku since 2011-2012 and I've noticed a trend when devices that are only a few years old no longer get updates. My Roku Express + streaming box/device is at version 14.6 and can no longer update to version 15 of the software. Now Apple TV+ app no longer works. I can open it and see the content but nothing streams. I have had this happen multiple times throughout the years and it is getting annoying. This is a perfectly working device and is now trash. Just what we need, more perfectly working items just thrown into the trash. Sorry Roku, I like the user interface and all but it is time to move on.371Views2likes7CommentsRoku 2 stuck in dancing logo
Roku 2 stuck on dancing ROKU logo with flashing white light. Can't access anything forward of this. Removed power several times and for overnight, reset router checked hdmi cable, etc. Nothing works. Can this be a complete failure of unit due to age, or can a recent update have corrupted the system?206Views2likes10CommentsRoku is displaying bouncing letters on the screen
My Roku stick is about two months old. I got it up the same time as I got a new TV. I have everything set up and have used it with no problems until all of a sudden. Now when I go to the HDMI port where the Roku is all I get are bouncing Roku letters. It won’t bring up my homepage. It won’t respond to anything on the remote. I have reset the stick I have changed HDMI ports. I have had my cable provider reboot my Internet. I have put new batteries in the brand new remote. I am so frustrated. And I can’t get any help online with it. I hope someone can help me.Solved157Views2likes5Comments
