How to stop my Roku device from overheating

My device has worked great for more than 6 months and now it states that it’s overheating. I switched the Roku stick device from the bedroom to the living room and it worked fine for a few weeks and the same thing happened. How can I fix this?

How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

Hello. I have had a Roku device connected to my small Samsung TV for years and I rarely have had problems, although I had to replace the device already once as it was no longer working, and I could not watch any channels at all. Lately, I have had the same thing you are describing happen to me but with my Amazon Prime account telling me to free up space etc. Firstly, I do not know where to find "settings" after pushing my home button. I do not have settings on my screen. After trying a couple of times to reset the device as suggested, pushing the reset button, even though the button was not marked "reset" on my device, I was successful in hearing some noises coming out of the remote, so something was happening. I tried again opening Prime but the same error message appeared. At this point I unplugged the device, waited, and plugged it in again, and it worked! The old trick of pulling the plug...came through for me this time. I can open the Prime App! Try it!

Why is my image aspect ratio suddenly the wrong size?

Last night for the first time when I switched to the Roku, the picture aspect ratio had suddenly changed so that the picture did not fit the full screen as it had previously. The image size went from 27 ½” w x 15” h to 20 1/2”w x15” h. The change affects all Roku screens and all Roku channels and their videos. In contrast, when I watch my regular tv channels which don’t use the Roku, the images fit the screen properly. I have done: Soft and hard device resets Manually setting display to 1080p and 720p Updating software (I checked, already up to date) Powering the Samsung TV, cable box, and Roku off and on However, the problem remains. The Roku 1 options do not provide the ability to directly change the picture size. Everything else seems to work fine on the Roku – for example, I can stream, change channels, etc. I would appreciate any suggestions to fix this.

Keeps going back to home screen

While watching it will go to the Home screen. It seems to do this when triggered by a commercial. Also it seems to be happening on my Discovery Go platforms.

IPTV Smarters Pro - How do I add

How do I add IPTV Smarters Pro to Roku? Is there a app that I’m not seeing or something I’m doing wrong? I went on Roku website to locate the channel or app and wasn’t able to find it.

How to fix Netflix not working on my Roku streaming device

8 Nov 2023 I have looked at previous posts and solutions. My issues are similar. Details are: When logged int Netflix: [1] After selection loading never completes. [2] During playing of a selection playing stops and attempts to load and never starts again. [3] When trying to select, changing selection takes > 30s. [4] Unable to change selections. In all cases I investigated the state of my internet connection modem and router from my PC. In all cases both modem and router were operational and I had internet WiFi access on several devices. During the last failure, item [2] above, I was successful in watching the program after I switched to my TV Netflix connection. So, TV works, Roku doesn't. From reading the other posts this appears to be a common problem. When will this be solved by Roku?

Roku Ultra Stuck on bouncing logo

My Roku has not had problems other than one failed remote. I recently moved, and when I went to use the Roku, it won't boot up passed the bouncing Roku logo. I have tried resetting it numerous times. I have tried hard connecting to my router by ether net. Neither my remote nor my iphone app can connect to it. Any other ideas of things to try?
