S3 Great American Baking Show - No Captions
The show description says there should be a variety of captions available. But so far none of the episodes have ANY captions, not in English not in another language.. I’ve been searching for a way to report this, but have t found an official “report a problem with a movie/ show” link where someone can fix it.
Loose audio after a commercial on NetFlix
We are having a similar issue where we loose audio after a commercial on NetFlix. It appears to be on only one of our streaming sticks, and it does not appear to be consistent. This is on a model 3830R - Roku Streaming Stick Plus with software version 14.6. We do not have any external audio device (only the speaker built into to the Vizio E322AR TV. And resetting the Roku Stick everytime this happens is not an acceptable solution to the problem.
App Restarting: Fox News on Roku Devices
This issue is definitely NOT solved. I experience many of the same symptoms other users reported in this thread. I had this issue for more than issue on two of my Roku 3 Ultra devices. I finally decided to upgrade both devices to Roku 4 Ultras thinking it would surely resolve the issue, but unfortunately the issue persists where I have to physically unplug or manually soft reboot my Roku device before launching Fox News app for it to work. Then, after watching for a period of time (sometimes within 15 minutes, sometimes after an hour, it will suddenly display the Fox News splash screen and the spinning circle (it used to be 13% with the Roku 3 Ultras, but now it usually shows 33% loading on both Roku 4 Ultras). The point is, this is obviously a problem specific to this app. I do not have this problem with any other app, nor have I ever had this problem with apps for all the many years I've owned Roku devices (since the first version of Roku).
Apple TV app not working or loading in
I bought this tv back in November & I can not get Apple TV app to load. It just constantly spins like it’s trying to load. I have done all trouble shooting, even called Apple & Roku with no help; pretty much just blaming the other company. I even did a factory reset on tv. Every other app workings perfectly. Please help 😅
Buffering Issues on HBO Max and Spectrum Apps
I bought a Roku 40" HD LED TV less than a month ago. The model number is 40R3C5. So far we have been using mostly the Spectrum app and HBOMAX app. The TV is struggling with both of them. Within the HBOMAX app it will stop abruptly while watching a show. Sometimes it comes back after several seconds, sometimes it comes back with just sound and no picture, often times it will get us out of the app and we have to go back in. While watching a recorded show via the Spectrum app the other night, it got choppy for awhile, then came back but automatically turned on closed caption. It did that three times during a hour and a half show. I've gotten messages to go to settings and check wi-fi connectivity. Every time I do this the connection test runs fine. We have a 400mbs internet package, so our speed and bandwidth is fine. I have a TV in our basement with a Roku box attached to it. All the apps work fine on the Roku box. Please help. What is wrong with my brand new smart TV? This is very frustrating! Regards, Mark
Roku Ultra Issues with BBC iPlayer
Just purchased a Roku ultra from Amazon, as I was impressed with the 4k stick Roku. But sadly it’s failing to impress. BBC iPlayer will not even load, five and U will do adverts and then cease to do anything and says the video is not available. Never had this with the 4k stick and expected a lot more from the ultra being over twice the price of the stick. Makes it a very expensive remote control and it’s not fit for purpose.
