Ok so here is a wild one. Hopefully I don't stump the techs. I have a 40 inch Hisense Roku tv. The Spectrum app started to time out in under 5 min. it'd pop up asking if we are still watching. before we could even click the ok, the screen would go blank. we'd have to go to the home page to restart the app. this is a vicious cycle. We also have 4 other devices (not Hisense) that have no issues. I have removed the app and reinstalled. no change. I then unplugged the TV for several hours, no change. changed the sleep setting to maximum, turned off bandwidth saver, and checked for updates. I'm totally baffled as to how too fix this issue. Is their any suggested fixes or ideas anyone may have? Thank you.
@nsanenlife I know you indicated you removed the app and reinstalled, but did you 1) remove app, 2) either system restart or unplug TV for 60 seconds and then 3) reinstall the app? You need to do that in that particular order to clear the cache out before reinstalling the app.
