Roku streaming stick 3820X2 install over existing non functioning stick 3810X
I am wanting to install a new streaming stick 3820X2 however I presently have an older stick 3810X which has failed but is programmed on my TV. Can I just simply install the new stick with the new remote without doing anything to remove the old version which is not working

Hey, @PeterG2.
That's a great question!
You can totally set up and activate the new Roku Streaming Stick on your TV without any issues. If the old one isn’t working anymore, just unplug it and get the new Roku up and running using the same email you had for the old device.
Need tips for activation? Here's a link!
Thanks for choosing Roku!💜

Re: Roku streaming stick 3820X2 install over existing non functioning stick 3810X
A Roku streaming device doesn't install to your TV at all - it just feeds a signal to your TV and the TV takes it from there. Just unplug the current Roku and plug the new one in. You'll have to set the new one up, but if you link it to the same Roku account (use the same email address) it will load all of your same channels to it, although you may need to log into some of them again.
