My Roku remote is going through batteries every couple days... it’s insane how much money I’m spending on batteries

@KurtNusbaum

Thanks for the post.

Since your affected device is a Roku Streaming Stick+ (3810X), I'd recommend starting with my suggestion in my post above then let us know if there's any difference after.

All the best,

Re: Roku remote draining batteries

The batteries never seem to last more than 3 weeks for the remote on my Roku 3810. Have resorted to using the app but it's a bit of an inconvenience. Device is fully up to date running 10.0.0 but issue is still not resolved. Anything I can do?

Please communicate with customersupport@roku.com and explain your remote issues.   They asked me some diagnostic questions .... I am currently waiting on a positive resolution.

Good luck

I'm having the same issue. Is there a fix on this yet? I see the original post was in the beginning of the year. Thanks!

Re: Roku remote draining batteries

Hi, checking to see if there has ever been a resolution on this. I’ve had a series of Roku devices and remotes over the years and keep experiencing the same issue. Currently writing about the Roku 3810x streaming stick+ in my living room that goes through batteries every few weeks. Batteries in my other remotes (tv, sound bar/system, etc. last inexplicably longer).

Restarted system regularly with no improvement.

Please send new remote. Remote now using batteries up in less than a week.
