@hollowch, does the "old" remote work with the new Ultra? Does the remote you got with the new Ultra work with the old Ultra? Just wondering if it's really the old Ultra that's the problem.
I am having the same issues with my remote. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps. I clicked on your profile, however I do not see any option to send you a message with the details. Thanks.
