We understand you're having a problem with the Roku remotes since some of the buttons are not working. We're happy to assist you further. May we know what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? In the meantime, you may also want to try these troubleshooting steps below.

  1. Press Home on your Roku voice remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select Remotes & Devices.
  4. Select Remote.
  5. Choose your voice remote from the list and select Set up remote for TV control.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Right button does not work unless pressed many times and with increasing pressure. Worked when new. Has become worse over time. Tried all the reset procedures and no change. Information on remote.

Model is 3820R2 streaming stick

Serial # is X025007157ML

Software version is 12.5.5 build 4174-E6

Device ID is SOJ7336157ML

Tracker ID is ML-054-793

guess what just happened with my new 4K streaming stick?

the same thing! The remote stopped controlling the Roku ! Just like last time!

I decided that I want a refund and I am finished purchasing Roku products. I recommend never purchasing a Roku 4K streaming stick under any circumstance!

Firstly, we sincerely apologize for any trouble and inconvenience this may have caused you. No worries! We're here to find you the best resolution possible.

In this case, may we know when and where you purchased your new Roku Streaming Stick 4K? Are you able to pair it successfully to your Roku player or does the issue happen after pairing it? 

In the meantime, we suggest pressing the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 30 seconds to reset it and then re-pairing it again to see if this will make any difference.

tried it and it did not work,.

 

Roku promised a return call that never came. As someone who has purchased roku since the first one I am sadly moving on from roku. The customer service use to be so great when they started but now it is absolutely horrible.  The 4k streaming stick is so bad it should be taken off the market. It is so bad that Roku can no longer be trusted to put out good products.
