@hlshipOut of curiosity, have you made router changes or bothered to use a network analyzer app to see which channels are best? While I don't own a stick, the Ultra remote uses WiFi direct so I'm going to assume the stick may as well. In many cases, channel congestion will cause connection problems but once you change the router channel to one with less congestion, it often solves the problem. I have my own modem/router setup rather than 'rent' one from the Internet provider and get 20% more speed, far more router features and better security overall. WiFi Analyzer for Android is a good analysis tool, though there's likely something similar for IOS.
