Mine isn’t working either so I got the app and tried using the OK button on there also. Can anyone help with this?

I have a Standard Remote and it isn't working. I get to the ROKU start screen, but then nothing on the remote works. We have our service with Xfinity using the HDMI1 and the ROKU for HDMI2 on our TV so can change the input with the remote for Xfinity with no problem. But once the HDMI2 is selected and we use the ROKU remote and get the ROKU screen, when the Home or * Settings, or any other button on the ROKU remote is pressed, nothing happens. The ROKU screen just stays on. Batteries are not the issue. Have tried restarting the device and nothing has changed. This remote has not had any problems before. Since the remote won't respond to anything, I can't even choose the settings button to confirm it's on our home network. (It always has been so I'm assuming the network originally used during the set-up isn't the issue.) It is so time-consuming to try and get this to work, and I feel like I'm spinning my wheels here. Thanks for any suggestions.
