Our 58 Hisense Roku TV is listed as compatible with the Roku voice remote pro. It works when we press the microphone but the hands off feature does not work. I say “Hey Roku” and nothing. I paid for this as a gift and it’s been very frustrating. There is no customer support people to contact.
Do you have the switch on the left side of the remote in the proper position?
Yes. I’ve been through the instructions and video a few times. Definitely on.
Do you get the popup on the screen when you turn the switch on and off that acknowledges that Hands-free voice is on or off? I'm just wondering if the switch could be bad. Does the "Fast TV start" setting in the Power settings have any effect?
These are great suggestions. The pop up window does appear when I turn the switch off and on. Also the power thing is on and does not seem to have an affect. I’m concerned it’s just not compatible although it shows as compatible. We did not have a microphone originally so that’s some benefit but really wanted hands free.
Have you tried re-pairing the remote?
Yes and that worked! We had to search on Internet to figure out how to “unsync” it first (just push home button, not both home and back) Thank you.
