My wireless receiver isn’t working it gives me a notification and says your advanced wireless receiver is not detected and it will not let me do anything or set up my roku stick.

I'm very frustrated to be experiencing this error message as well. The long range wireless receiver is integrated into the power cord on my device? There is no way for my stick to be powered and functional if it was not also plugged into the LWR? It doesn't make any sense and it's very irritating.

I've been trying to set this up for a few weeks, since Christmas. I've tried the reset button, unplugging everything to rest and trying again, keeping it on and plugged in to just try to give it time since it's a brand new device, and trying to gently position the cord for a better connection between the pins. It doesn't look like there's any physical damage or debris in the ports, either.
