Re: Sound suddenly stopped working
I have this same problem and just unplug the tv for 30 seconds and plug it back in solves the a problem but this is a pain to have to do this to a 3 month old unit I was hoping to find a more definitive solution that would last more than a couple of days.
If anyone has a longer lasting solution please let me know.

To confirm, does the issue only occur on a specific channel while streaming or throughout the Roku platform?

Re: Sound suddenly stopped working
My sound stopped working on my ROKU TV so I followed your community advice; unplugged TV for 30 seconds upon plugging back in the sound worked again. (Note: I did try the screen menu option to factory restart audio but it didn’t work.) Sometimes I think this happens when there’s been automatic updates to my ROKU TV.

Re: Sound suddenly stopped working
Hi @MaryK,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
Thanks for letting us know about the issue you are having with your Roku TV, as well as the steps you've taken to resolve it.
To assist you better, could you please provide the following information?
- What model is your Roku TV? (It could be a Hisense, TCL, ONN, Select Series, Pro, Series, Plus Series, etc.)
- What is your device's OS version? (could be found in Settings > System > About)
- Do you have any other devices connected to your TV? (e.g., speakers and other sound systems)
For troubleshooting purposes, we recommend restarting your Rok TV from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
Please keep us posted, and we'll continue assisting you from there.
All the best,
Chel
