We have a TCL model 43S435 and the apps started to not work after the power was unplugged.
It was connected to the wifi but it didn't load any apps, we did a system restart with the remote, and also powered it off by the remote, and unplugged it. We finally decided to do a factory reset and everything was gone and now we cannot connect the wifi or configure it for set-up. We can't add the TV to the account anymore, either.
Any help would be appreciative? Should we just buy a new tv.
I had the exact same issue. Purchased new model 50S451: not responding to the remote, tried to reset, then reset back to factory settings with on response, unplugged from power source and still no success. It shouldn't be this difficult to set up. Not sure what going on here.
