@LindaDog You just have to use the Sony TV remote and not the Roku remote to change the input to the antenna. A Firestick works the same way as the Roku Express and is not easier. You absolutely can watch your primetime shows on your local channels without purchasing a Roku TV.
I have a Roku Express attachment for my non Roku TV and I'm trying to add an antenna to get local channels. There is no TV Input option.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @DalpRkp3!
Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to share further information about this.
The Roku Express does not have the capability to support OTA Live TV channels, so you won't be able to access over-the-air live TV through it. If you have a non-Roku TV and want to connect an antenna to access live TV channels, you can do so by using your TV's remote to switch inputs. This will allow you to seamlessly switch between the Roku and the antenna input on your TV.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Carly
Thanks Carly, I was afraid that you were going to say that. I was hoping that I could just use the Roku remote. Oh well.
I'm trying to figure out a way to watch NFL football games for free. All I have is Roku. No satellite or cable. Any ideas? YouTube only works for college games and not NFL.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop, @DalpRkp3
We understand that you have an inquiry on how to stream the NFL football games on your Roku device.
In this matter, we recommend visiting our Roku Blog for more information about streaming NFL games.
Please let us know if there are other related issues we can look into further.
