Interesting...I have an Onn roku TV and mine is doing the same. The only thing that temporarily stops is turning off the TV, wait awhile, and start again. The ghost images go away, just not forever. The next day the issue starts again. So how can this issue be happening to two different iterations of a Roku TV?
There are only about 5 major manufacturers of TV screens that are sold/branded to the different TV brands out there, so it is possible they are using the same manufacturers and with budget level TVs, the quality of those screens is not the greatest. Cheap LED screens tend to hold artifacts over time. You could reach out to Onn customer support directly to see if they can provide any technical advice to help you.
