I've been getting charges for various channels I did not sign up for. I just found out I've been charges 10.99 for Televisa smh no one in my household speaks Spanish. I was getting charged for AE but my bank settled that one. Now I am finding televia as well as Vudu that I never signed up for. Every month it seems I get new sub charges for channels I do not use. I am reporting this to the FTC. This is happening repeatedly.

Hi there! There are a few things you can do to ensure you're only paying for the premium content that you want!
- First, navigate to http://my.roku.com and manage your subscriptions there. You'll be able to see what you've signed up for and make any changes from this screen.
- Second, ensure your account is protected with a password PIN. You can also do this from your account page at http//my.roku.com. Do not share this PIN with other household members unless you authorize them to purchase content or start free trials on your Roku account. Learn more about adding a purchase PIN here.
- Finally, reach out to our customer support team directly if you have additional questions about your account. You can contact them by phone or live chat at http://support.roku.com/contactus. They can help you!
As we are unable to assist in the Roku Online Community with most billing concerns, we're going to go ahead and close this thread, but the folks in customer support will be able to help you by phone or by live chat.
Thanks!

Re: Roku has benn scamming me
Roku keeps charging me for channels and when I contact the channel they tell me i have to "speak" with Roku. I have no subs or payment methods on my Roku account. How am i getting charged ? I am never able to speak to anyone. I am never buying another Roku product again.

Re: Roku has benn scamming me
Frankly, I think you credit card has been compromised. I'd call the credit card company right now. Most likely nothing to do with ROKU. A scammer can put anything down as the charge.

Re: Roku has benn scamming me
If your Roku online account information doesn't show subscriptions, then the charges are not from Roku.
Also, did you ever have a previous Roku that you threw out or sold? Was it factory reset before that? Have you always used the same email account for Roku? Do any Roku's show up on your account that you don't own?

Re: Roku has benn scamming me
I have never subscribed to AE or Televisa. I have no accounts with them and i have no active subscription on the only roku account i ever created. The reason I even created that roku account was to attempt to cancel a subscription to paramount that I eventually canceled by going to the device where it was created which was in a different city. After that I never used roku for any more free trials or subscriptions. I am on the line now with my bank to file a lenghty dispute. Ive been charged since Mar 2022 first for AE and now forTelevisa.

No, they're not. Scammers steal your CC information, then submit bills for bogus charges. They can make their bill say anything they want, and Roku is a commonly used company name by the scammers. As someone already said, if you go to your Roku user account page (https://my.roku.com) and don't see any subscriptions listed, then your CC has been stolen and you need to contact your bank immediately. Dispute all of these charges and have them cancel your CC and issue you a new one.

I am not a Roku employee, just another user.
