Unauthorized Transactions

Jump to solution

I am being billed for services I didn't sign up for again. This has happened before, and I was never reimbursed but the charges magically stopped coming out of my account. Now it's happening again.

1-The Roku Channel 816-2728107 DEUS - $21.56

2-Roku for WarnerMedia Glob Roku for WarnerMed 816-2728107 DEUS  - $10.68

3-WarnerMedia Global Digita WarnerMedia Global 816-2728107 DEUS - $33.82

When I go to my subscriptions, these are not listed, however they have to be coming from ROKU as I don't sign-up for any streaming services and other way.

Some charges that I did sign-up for also don't show up under my subscription for example Peacock (*Roku for Peacock TV LLC Roku for Peacock T 816-2728107 DEUS - from my card transactions). Something is going on with ROKU directly. I only get Hulu, Netflix, Peacock as monthly subscription & Paramount + annual subscription. Please remove all other charges from my account.

That doesn't do **bleep** because ROKU is stealing but not listing the subscription on an old account. THESE MOTHER **bleep**ERS ARE THIEVES.

Every stinking month I have these$2.59 charges to my debit card. My bank has disputed them twice because it overdrew my account. It's still happening, I have no subscriptions and I removed my debit card over a month ago, so how the he'll are they still taking it out, that is fraud.  Who do I contact?

@Lpfahler18, did you ever have another Roku device that may have been linked to a different Roku account?  I'd probably get the bank to cancel the debit card and issue a new one.

Re: Unauthorized Transactions

@Danelle, most apps are free to add, but may have in-app purchases.  Those purchases would require the PIN.  You can check your purchases by logging into your account at https://my.roku.com using the email address that's displayed on your device under Settings->System->About.  You probably weren't charged for just adding the app.  You can also set your account to require a PIN to simply add an app, paid or free.
