Roku Ultra Issues with BBC iPlayer
Just purchased a Roku ultra from Amazon, as I was impressed with the 4k stick Roku. But sadly it’s failing to impress. BBC iPlayer will not even load, five and U will do adverts and then cease to do anything and says the video is not available. Never had this with the 4k stick and expected a lot more from the ultra being over twice the price of the stick. As stated above. My censored.tv app plays for 4 mins and then goes back to home screen. network reset? Doesnt help. factory reset doesnt help. tv restart and deleting app and reinstalling does not help. pulling power cord? We are having a similar issue where we loose audio after a commercial on NetFlix. It appears to be on only one of our streaming sticks, and it does not appear to be consistent. This is on a model 3830R - Roku Streaming Stick Plus with software version 14.6. We do not have any external audio device (only the speaker built into to the Vizio E322AR TV. My Global TV app stopped working all of a sudden. I see others had this problem but i cant' seem to find where the solution to fix this is and i can't seem to respond to any other messages. How do i get this fixed? i can download the app, but when i try to stream something it crashes and goes back to the main page. I love Roku,so I replaced all 4 TVs to 65 and 55 inch getting rid of my stick.heres my problem.with Dtv on my sticks I could brouse the guide while listening or watching TV.none of my TVs allow this.i deleted app which fixes problem for about 5 minutes.i also did the clear cache and even tried deleting all apps but Dtv.nothing.help.please don't blame the app as it works with even the 3900 express.again Help.51Views1like3CommentsYouTube TV playback issue
So you closed a discussion on Roku no longer working properly with YouTube tv, by blaming it on YouTube, IN SPITE OF irrefutable proof that the problem is with Roku Express no longer working. NOTHING that YouTube tv does will change the fact that ROKU is the problem. And the worst part is that people with a ROKU tv are really screwed because they’ll have to buy a new tv to get YouTube tv working again! I will be providing YouTube tv support with ALL of my reports, research and fixes, showing them that it is NOT their issue, it’s Roku’s. Roku Media Player no longer loads the videos from my home PC. It can find my PC, it can find the media I have on my PC but stops loading at thirteen percent when I select a video to watch.. I have removed and reinstalled the media player app, I have rebooted my PC, I have re-started my router box and my WiFi box. Media Streaming is turned on. I have read so many pages on the internet trying to solve this problem, I have looked at so many settings on my PC but nothing has worked. I bought a Roku 40" HD LED TV less than a month ago. The model number is 40R3C5. So far we have been using mostly the Spectrum app and HBOMAX app. The TV is struggling with both of them. Within the HBOMAX app it will stop abruptly while watching a show. Sometimes it comes back after several seconds, sometimes it comes back with just sound and no picture, often times it will get us out of the app and we have to go back in. While watching a recorded show via the Spectrum app the other night, it got choppy for awhile, then came back but automatically turned on closed caption. It did that three times during a hour and a half show. I've gotten messages to go to settings and check wi-fi connectivity. Every time I do this the connection test runs fine. We have a 400mbs internet package, so our speed and bandwidth is fine. I have a TV in our basement with a Roku box attached to it. All the apps work fine on the Roku box. Please help.
