YouTube video loading issues after Oct. 2025 update

Just updated my Ultra and now YouTube is taking a long time to load videos and often fails to load them entirely with no error code given.

Is anyone else having this issue?

    Tracked it down. It's actually YouTube this time. They are updating their players and messed up while they were doing it.

    It was coincidence that I had just updated my Ultra. It's expected to be running buggy for a while since they haven't acknowledged their error yet, but should go back to normal eventually.

    Yes. My ONN ROKU TV running software ver. 14.6 just stopped playing YouTube videos.  It plays a couple of seconds, then jumps to commercial.  There issues on my Android phone as well.

    YouTube on TCL after updating this week: lots of the circle/loading, like it’s having problems loading their ADs and play back goes dark and has problems loading.

    Found the issue, it's not the Roku app. YouTube while installing new player features messed it up. It's expected to be a bit buggy for a while though, but should go back to normal eventually.
