Youtube app audio is skipping and choppy with Private Listening

I use the Roku remote app’s private listening feature to connect my headphones to my roku tv through bluetooth. Recently, the Youtube app audio will not play correctly when I am listening through my headphones. It makes it sound chopped up and sporadic. Here is what I’ve already done to try to fix this: • I turned off and on the private listening feature from my app • I closed the roku app completely and reopened it • I disconnected my headphones’ bluetooth to my phone • I turned the power off on my headphones and then back on and reconnected • I restarted my tv • I checked to see if my tv needed a software update. It is up to date • I tested the audio of different apps through my headphones. They all work perfectly. So far it is only the Youtube app that has this issue. • I checked to see if the Youtube app needed updating. It is the current version. • I uninstalled the Youtube app from my tv and reinstalled it. No change. • I played the youtube app audio through my tv instead of my headphones through private listening and it sounds fine. At first I assumed this was an issue with my headphones but they play everything except the Youtube app perfectly normally.

Simultaneous Headphone and Speaker Support for Hearing Impaired

I own the Roku Ultra and I'm very surprised and disappointed that their flagship Roku steamer will not allow simultaneous sound (wireless headphones and speakers to play at same time). My wife has a condition that renders her near deaf. I bought Bluetooth headphones so the entire family can watch programing together. It turns out that when headphones are used no sound to speakers and visa versa. One would think that since this is a common problem for hearing impaired and their families, that a Roku software update or setting selection would allow both. This could be done via update. Or add an optical out on the device itself. Roku you can do better.

    New Feature:Change Closed Caption Position

I would like to be able to shift the audio subtitles up or down in line height increments. People could use this feature for various reasons: Move them into the black bars when a film is 2.45 aspect ratio Move them out of the black bars when they are using a projector and zoom the image to fill the screen Move them out of the more active regions of the image This feature is available in several high quality players like Oppo and Panasonic and would position Roku as the favored choice by consumers looking for this feature.

Unable to locate Bluetooth on Roku Ultra after reset

My brand new Roku Ultra reset and when it came back Bluetooth is now nowhere to be found. My already-paired headphones won't connect and the "Add devices" now only shows remotes as compatible. Did Roku just take away Bluetooth support???

    Closed caption keeps turning off

My devices stop closed captioning all the time, both requiring 1-3 restarts a day. Multiple apps - Peacock+, Hulu, Max, Paramount+. I am not changing the settings - it shows on, and ONLY restarting eventually fixes it. Turning the setting off and back on does not help. Roku3 4230R Roku 3821R2 Streaming Stick 4k+ V.14.6

    Default sound not working

I was messing around with sound settings to see if I liked any of them but decided I liked the default ones more, and every time I try to go back and make that the sound for my tv, it changes the wallpaper back to default instead of the sound. I already tried a system shutdown.

Adding OTA local stations manually on Roku TV

This is just maddening! I bought a Roku TV in Michigan and loved it! So, I figured I'd buy another one when I moved to Kansas. When I went to set up my live channels; I could only get CBS and NBC. No ABC, no Fox. I went to my first Roku TV that I purchased, I could get CBS, NBC, and ABC; no Fox. I went online and got the number for the Fox stations (24.1) so I could try to add them manually. Maybe they don't come in well due to where I am, trees, or where my antenna is oriented...but I can move the antenna to different areas to try and get the channel to come in (usually). BUT, there's no way to manually add a channel (a feature available on EVERY TV produced since the dawn of cable television) on either Roku TV. And when you try to read the "support" articles, they just tell you how to scan for channels...which I already did. There's NOTHING on manually adding channels other than this thread that demonstrates Roku simply doesn't allow it on their devices! They want you to move your antenna around, then do an auto-scan again...and repeat that activity until auto scan picks up the channel?? I have two antennas, both tested and work fine, and one is in the center (upstairs) of the house and another in the NW corner. I 'suspect' that the Fox channel is just difficult to pick up...and might not be receivable at one location...maybe 'hit or miss' with the other one. But I'd rather watch a 'hit or miss' Fox station with NFL football games than watch NCIS, or Ocean discovery w/Jeff Corwin, or 'This Old House', or Indy car racing coming in clear. How is it that Roku doesn't "get this"? Anyone born before 2000 knows how antennas work. So now I need to go buy an external TV antenna, figure out how to mount it on a roof I don't own, just so 'maybe' I can get Roku's auto-scan to pick up ONE channel?? As president Biden would say, "Come on man!"
