How to connect a Bluetooth headset on Roku Streambar?
So call me confused: are the soundbars just the audio part and not the "play the movie" also? I'm assuming just audio is picking up from the TV. My main question is, my TV doesn't have Bluetooth for headsets (don't get me started on how I assumed something so mainstream would be missing - my bad, lol), so I typically use the remote pro with a headjack, which is a pain in that I have to carry the remote if I'm going to get something. Do the sound bars allow Bluetooth for a headset/AirPod, and if so, is there lag like when I try to play through their Android app headset connection? Any other suggested combos without much lag?Solved1.5KViews1like7CommentsWireless Bluetooth Speakers Wont Play Apple Music
My partner gifted me two Onn Roku Bluetooth speakers for my birthday, which we've successfully paired with our Roku soundbar. They work flawlessly for movie and TV audio, but I'm disappointed that I can't seem to use them for music playback from services like Apple Music or Tidal. Is there absolutely any method, even if it's a workaround or involves additional equipment, to get these speakers to play music? I'd really love to be able to use them for all audio, not just video.Solved1.4KViews0likes13CommentsBluetooth speaker on Roku Device
I love the Roku OS, but, I dont love that my new Roku 65" pro does not allow me to connect a Bluetooth amp. The Amp connects several speakers I already have built in. If I add a random roku speaker , would the speaker allow me to connect my Bluetooth Amp? I was able to add the device as headphones, but it wasnt automatic and I had no volume control on the roku remote and there was a delay in sync of picture and sound. I am open to ideas as to how to hook up my Pro to my amp. Thanks to all.Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentRoku Soundbar and Bluetooth Headset connection
I used to be able to connect bluetooth headphones to my Roku Soundbar/streambar. Then that feature just sort of disappeared. I am relegated to using my phone to use bluetooth to watch TV which results in significant lag between screen and sound. What happened to this previous feature and how do I get headphone mode back?Solved848Views0likes1CommentUsing Roku Streambar purely as a Bluetooth speaker without setup or any TV
(I want to use my Roku stream bar purely as a bluetooth speaker for my ipad mini 7 without any TV) I’m having trouble using Roku Streambar as a bluetooth speaker with my ipad mini 7 and an LG monitor without a Roku TV or any TV, the monitor has no HDMI or optical cable connection, only USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3 connection, so I cannot do the set up as instructed in the quick start guide at all, and my Roku app cannot detect my Roku stream bar, telling me no devices detected, even though it is plugged and power is on, what can I do? Is there any solution? Or is that impossible and I have to return it for a refund? Please help! Thanks!Solved666Views0likes1CommentAre Roku TVs designed only for Roku Speakers?
I hope I'm wrong, as I love Roku I purchased a new Roku TV, and it only has HDMI ports (unlike my older models). After hours of research and several attempts, the company informed me: “Roku does not have outputs anymore, only input. That’s why the Bose speaker isn’t working. But if you use a Roku speaker, it can definitely work.” In addition, Bluetooth connections only pair with Roku wireless speakers as they have their own version of Bluetooth. Seriously??? Roku only states their smart TVs can connect to external speakers - they do not specify they must be “Roku” speakers. And they’re betting once the consumer unboxes and sets up the TV, we will just conform and purchase their speakers. Questions for the community and the Roku Team: Is this disturbing to anyone else? Is there a hack I’m not privy to? Are there any new Roku TVs that allow you to easily connect to the speaker of your choice? What year did Roku remove outputs so I can shop for older models?199Views0likes4Comments
