I've connected just fine from Roku Ultra for years to my desktop computer. For some reason, it no longer connects. I'm wondering if a Windows update somehow messed up the connection. I've tried various suggestions I've seen to no avail. Not sure if this had an impact on Roku TV.
Welcome, and thank you for posting here in the Roku Community, @rmmusa!
We appreciate you for reaching out about your network issues. Worry no more, as we would be more than happy to find you the best resolution possible.
May we first know who is your Internet Service Provider? In addition, we recommend resetting your network by going to Settings > System > Advance system settings > Reset network connection. Also, we suggest trying to connect it to an alternative network connection, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if it would make any difference.
Furthermore, kindly provide us with the current system version of your Roku streaming device by going to Settings > System > About.
The best course of action will be suggested once we better understand the situation. We'll be anticipating your response!
Kind regards,
Carly
@rmmusa Exactly how were you connecting a Windows computer to your Ultra? Are you referring to screen sharing, or something else?
