Hi @PMC731,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, and we'll be glad to assist you further.

Please be advised that Error codes 009, 14, 14.10, 14.11, 14.30, 14.50, 14.62, and 14.64 mean that your streaming device cannot connect to the internet.

Suppose the previous steps did not fix your internet connection issue and you are comfortable working with networking equipment. In that case, you can visit the article with advanced troubleshooting tips and networking features. You may also reach out to your internet service provider to inquire further about this problem.

We hope this helps.

Best regards,
John

Hi @Timbo126 @Lmajor18_,

Thanks for keeping us posted, and welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you contacting us about this issue you had with the Roku device or TV not connecting to your home network. We're happy to help.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Power cycle the Roku device for 30 seconds.
  2. Restart the router.
  3. You can reset your Roku device's network connection by going to Settings > Advanced System Settings > Network connection reset > Reset connection.
    • Note: Before doing so, make sure you know your Wi-Fi credentials.
  4. After the network reset, your Roku device will restart, and you will need to return to the Settings menu to set up your wireless network again.

You can connect your streaming device to a mobile hotspot as a temporary workaround to prevent an issue from occurring.

For additional troubleshooting steps, please see this article: How to fix internet errors and issues on your Roku streaming device.

Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know in case you still have any questions.

Best regards,
John

I have tried all the recommended ways to fix the Internet connection and none of them work. I've had this Roku stick since 2019 is it possible that it's kaput?

I know there's nothing wrong with the Internet so that is not the problem. All I get is error code 14.50 whether I try connecting to the hotel Internet or my phone hotspot.
