I am having issues connecting my Roku device to my dorm WiFi. I just purchased this Roku tv and have followed all the steps in activating and updating it. When I select the dorm/hotel option a prompt appears with steps. Following these steps I connect to the direct Roku WiFi. I am confused on the last step. “Launch a browser” to fill out more information. When I open safari nothing comes up. I am confused as to where I need to go to fill out the rest of this information to finish connecting my tv.

Re: Roku dorm and hotel connect step 4 issues
Once you open a browser such as Safari, you have to try connecting to a web site. If the dorm/hotel system is configured correctly, it will redirect you to the web page you need to use to enter your credentials. Once you do that, the Roku disconnects from your phone and links to the Hotel/dorm network and you should be good to go.

Re: Roku dorm and hotel connect step 4 issues
Note that the Roku (TV in this case) must already be configured and linked to your Roku account before you can use the dorm connect feature.
If you need to do this, you'll need to temporarily use a different network, such as the WiFi hotspot on a phone, to do the initial setup and connection to your Roku account.
