Roku Wi-Fi isn't connecting because it doesn't support 6G and maybe not even 5G.

I had an issue getting my Roku to Connect Wirelessly. I realized I had turned on 6G on my Verizon 5G home Router. I logged into my Verizon app which allows me to go into my device settings. I turned off the 6G because it uses WPA3 which is newer Technology not supported by Roku devices. I turned off the 6G then I RESTARTED THE ROUTER FROM THE APP. Power cycle(unplugging) is not the same. Once my Router began it's reset I found the reset button on my Roku and did that was well. Once my network popped up I had to forget it then sign into it again. Once I was able to do this with my Roku Ultra the other Roku was signed in. I DID NOT have to manually repeat the process for my 2nd device.

@Shvance

Roku devices do not currently support the 6ghz band.(wifi6e)

Roku-branded Pro/Plus RokuTVs and the newest Roku Ultra 4850 do support WPA3 and wifi6(ax) but still only on the 5ghz band.

All other Roku devices that have dual-band support and do not support wifi6(ax) will need to use WPA2 protocol on the 2.4 and 5ghz bands.

There is an additional subset of these dual-band Roku devices that do not support DFS channels (52-140) on the 5ghz band, so may need to disable that as well on the router.  The current lineup of Roku devices generally support DFS. (some Streambar model exceptions).
