Roku can't find a device to stream to

I have a Roku Streaming Stick 4K which is connected to an electrical outlet and to the TV. The light on the Roku stick is on. I have an excellent signal. I have picked my language and it shows me a bunch of Wi-Fi signals. I pick the Roku recommended Wi-Fi. I try to log in with my Roku password and I keep getting an O14-4 error. (Could be 014-4) After looking at my account, I have no connected devices. Do I have to have my computer or my Roku account on? As long as the router is on can the computer be off? I do not have a cell phone. How do I connect?

  • To connect to your home WiFi you need to enter your WiFi router password, not the password for your Roku account.

Thank you for the information. The set up wasn't clear as to what password to enter. I even tried my tp-link account password and that didn't work. I finally asked tp-link support and they want the  password that is on the back of the router. They should be a little clearer when they say enter your tp-link password. (I did not see that text at first.) Any way, you set me on the right path and my router is up and running.

        Thanks again,
