Smart BULB won’t let me connect. Keeps asking for password in app when my wifi doesn’t have one

I live in college dorm. It requires the portal for authentication but i clear pass it. So the device can connect without the portal authentication but since i am not putting any password in app it wont let me connect to wifi. I just saw the post about Ledstrip in dorm which was 2022 but i was wondering if you guys fixed this or not.

We noticed in your post that you are having trouble connecting your Roku Smart Bulb to the internet through the Roku Smart Home app because the internet does not have a password. We would be more than happy to provide you with further details.

Please be informed that you cannot connect a Roku smart camera to Wi-Fi without the password. The setup process requires entering your Wi-Fi network details through the Roku Smart Home app, which requires providing the password to establish the connection.

So for me the bulb is useless.
