It is absolutely ridiculous that your Smart Home app does not allow authorizing multiple users in your family. Instead, everyone who lives in the home needs to log in to the same Smart Home account from their own personal devices, using a single email and password. THAT DOES NOT WORK WHEN YOU REQUIRE 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION WITH EVERY LOG IN!!!

Hi @NoraBruczyk,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We appreciate your input and feedback about the two-factor verification on the Roku Smart Home app. Our Roku team will be aware of this.
However, it's important to note that two-factor verification adds an extra layer of security, helping to protect your account and smart home devices from unauthorized access.
Thank you for your understanding.
Cheers,

Re: You need to authorize multiple users on one Smart Home account
This is not even a solution to the issue being presented here. So are you saying this app will stop logging me out if I turn 2FA off?? Can we even do that now? Should everyone in the house just have their own Roku doorbells piled up at the front door?

Re: You need to authorize multiple users on one Smart Home account
Hi @Docsith,
Thanks for your response!
If you wish to disable two-factor verification on the Roku Smart Home app, be aware that this will reduce the security of your account, making it easier for unauthorized users to access your smart home devices, as they will only need your password to log in.
After you turn off two-factor verification, the next time you open the Roku Smart Home app, you will be prompted to enable it again. However, you will have the option to skip or close that prompt.
To turn off two-factor verification, please visit our Roku Support article: How do I turn off two-step verification?
We hope you find this information helpful.
Cheers,
