I have tried factory resetting and turned on all the settings for Airplay and screen mirroring but still cannot connect my iphone and macbook to my tv.

Are you able to utilize the screen mirroring feature before or not at all? NO
What specific troubleshooting steps have you tried to take to resolve this? Factory reset, network connection reset on both roku tv and mobile device, turning on Airplay, turning on all other device connection options, turning on fast tv start, restarting roku tv
Model and OS version of the Apple/iPhone device you are trying to screen mirror from.
