Right? I actually avoid pausing no matter what's going on. Dinner? Max keeps playing. Conversation? Max keeps playing.
They did release a new version of MAX yesterday. But I will say that I see complaints about MAX on multiple platforms. It's not a Roku problem. Android based apps have the same issue, and I think Apple TV is reporting it as well. HBO needs better programmers.
I am not having this issue on my Android devices. It's just the app on my Roku Ultra. The app is up-to-date and I'm testing again.
The issue is not fixed. Back to using the TV app.
We’re still having the same problem. Super annoying.
Experiencing the same issue. Hopefully someone at Roku is working on it.
It's MAX that has to fix the issue.

It's not Roku's problem to fix. HBO owns the channel and pays the programmers that develop it. They are the ones that have to fix it.
I removed the app and added back and just like I thought it made ZERO difference. I have (2) Roku Express 4K+'s.
I sent Max the link to this topic. I"m tired of their lazy a's not fixing stuff. Continue watching has never worked right on it either. Most times it won't save your place or the next episode to watch & ready to click on. It stays on the ep you just watched.
