Re: Paramount Plus App will not load

For over a week now the Paramount+ App has not worked on my Roku TV (less than a year old). I have uninstalled, reinstalled, turned TV on, rebooted internet.  Nothing works.  I do this every evening hoping for some magic  It goes to the blue Paramount screen for a moment, then right back to home screen.

    1McMc, just to make sure, do the steps in this order:

    1. Uninstall the app
    2. Perform a System restart found under Settings->System->Power
    3. Reinstall the app

    Simply turning the TV off and on doesn't really accomplish anything.

    My Paramount + is no longer opening on my TCL Roku tv. When I click on the app it looks as if it will open but only goes back to the app and never opens. I've checked for updates on the app and TV and all is updated. What can I do? Thanks!

      Have you also tried doing these steps below?

      1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
      2. Restart your Roku device: Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
      3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.

      If that doesn't help, no worries; just send your device details here, and we'll look into it!

      • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID (Press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times)
      • App build version (Highlight the app from the Home Screen and press the Star * Button)

        None of the attempts to fix worked. Here are the details:

        Device: TCL 75R648
        Device ID: S09GY15RY1PX
        SN: X00600RRY1PX
        Software version: 13. 1.4 Build 1514-AH

         

        We have the service of Paramount + essentials thru Spectrum and we have never had a problem until now. The app with all of our other Roku tv's is working properly.
