I’ve tried all the steps suggested. Keep getting kicked out of Hulu. Have tried other channels yet. I have a roku ultra. Problem started today during US Open.

open to any suggestions.

TVs have been turned on & off to refresh but it's still happening.

If you have Fast Start enabled on your Roku TV, turning your set off/on just toggles you into and out of a reduced power standby state and doesn't give a complete restart. (Settings > System > Power > Fast TV Start)

To get a complete restart use menu path Settings > System > Power >System restart, or unplug from power for a few seconds.

Hmm.  I’ve read that roku devices don’t have cache.

what exactly did you do to clear ‘cache’ that fixed the ‘kicked to home’ issue?

To all

i can only surmise from reading the threads is it the latest software update from roku.  My system was fine until latest update.  All the suggested steps won’t work if the SW is flawed. I wish I could go back to previous sw release until roku fixes the issue.

im using Apple TV and all is well.  May just stay with it and dump roku.

The fix for me was plugging the device to a wall plug instead of the TV for the power source there was not enough power from the  TV source. I was not having no problems till recently but this seems to fix the problem.

Oh, so your problem was with an actual standalone Roku device? Then that pretty much tells me this is a Roku problem and not TCL...

My TCL TV is integrated with Roku, no separate device, and it's doing it.

So, clearly, this is a Roku issue that they are taking no responsibility for except for these canned, useless replies here.

I too have been having the same problem . 1st it was Prime but now it’s my Apple app on my new Roku Tv.

We have a Roku tv also and have not had any issues  with that TV. This seemed to have fixed our problem. Hopefully it is a quick start.
