Re: Overheating because of using auto detect for my tv display capabilities.

Jump to solution

My Roku overheats when I let it auto detect my tv specs, 4K HDR 60 mhz.  I have to put it back to 1080 to stop the overheating. Which product can actually handle the newer TV formats?

I had to disassemble mine and reapply the thermal paste as the company put it on the board and not on the chip! This took my heat from 76c to 46c at full load. Good luck
