This typically means that your Roku's memory cache has gotten corrupted, which can prevent the Roku from removing one or more seldom used channels to make room for loading or reloading the channel you've selected.
The easiest way to clear the cache is to restart the Roku using the procedure given by @RokuTakashi. As an alternate, you can pull the power plug for 30 seconds or so then plug the set back in.
Beautiful - Thank you!!!!!
I tried this and it didn’t solve the issue. I only have 1 app downloaded. I did a factory reset multiple times and that didn’t help at all.
Hi-neither of these fixes worked for me. Also I have deleted apps but still can't load SLING TV.
Welcome to the Roku Community, @nwahnish!
We understand that you're having trouble streaming the Sling TV app. I'd be more than happy to help you sort this out.
Could you please let us know if you're only experiencing this issue with the Sling TV app? If so, you may visit this support article to help you troubleshoot: How to resolve a channel playback issue.
In addition, if all channels are affected, you may try rebooting your router or resetting your network connection to see if that helps you resolve the issue.
Furthermore, if the issue still persists, please let us know, and we will help you further.
All the best,
Emman
This advice worked for me. Thank you.
Thank you so much, my grandkids wanted to watch monster trucks on youtube, and you saved the day
