Crave subtitles not working

Jump to solution

When streaming Crave I cannot get the subtitles to work properly. They are turned on and English is selected and works properly at first but if I start a new episode or play something new the subtitles revert to french language. As I require subtitles to view content this is a real pain. I have loaded and reloaded Crave a few times but the problem persists. I went on the Crave site and they send me back to Roku this is very frustrating. Has anyone encountered this? If so have you found a solution.

Hi, @GHETH

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We understand the issue you have encountered with the subtitles on Crave that do not work properly. For this matter, it's best to reach out to Crave's support directly and let them know about the issue you have experienced with their app. The issue is related to a subtitle; thus, it's part of the app's functionality, which the channel provider can address. Most channels on Roku are designed and developed by the channel provider.

We hope for your understanding in this regard.

Best wishes,
Kash
