There's nothing we can do except continue to let Roku know the problem and hopefully they can figure out what's causing it and send out a fix soon.
Same issue for me. I’ve uninstalled. Rebooted my phone. Reinstalled. Confirmed local network. OS is up-to-date and I’ve downloaded the most recent app from the App Store. iPhone Roku App is stuck on the purple screen. Before uninstalling app was stuck “loading” spinning wheel.
July 9 and still no fix from Roku on this issue?

Deleted and reinstalled the app. Version 9.5.1 does not fix the issue.
I think it needs to ask for local network permissions.

I did get the local network permissions to show up but still getting same error
Very happy to report that Roku App v9.5.1 seems to have fixed the loading issue on my device (iPhone 7, iOS 15.7.7).
