Roku app dropping since iOS 18

I try to private listen and it constantly drops now that I upgraded. Is this happening anywhere else for anyone? Stream on my tv just fine and no internet issues. Tried 5g and regular.

Thank you for informing us about the issue with your headphones mode on the Roku Mobile app, which keeps disconnecting from your phone.

We recommend you try the troubleshooting steps we provided above. If the issue persists, please proceed with the following.

  1. Restart your mobile device.
  2. Unplug the power from your Roku device.
  3. Restart your router by unplugging the power cable, waiting 10 seconds, and reconnecting. This will momentarily disconnect your Roku device and your mobile device from the network. Wait a few minutes while your router re-establishes the internet connection.
  4. Reconnect the power cable to your Roku device.

Thank you for informing us about the issue with your Roku app private listening, which keeps dropping after you updated your phone to iOS 18. We are more than willing to assist you with this.

If I got it correctly, you are referring to a Roku mobile app right? If so, I highly suggest you try to uninstall the Roku mobile app and install it back in. Also, try to check if the Roku mobile app is up to date.

10/15/24 and this is still happening to me!!!!!!!!! I hope they resolve it soon.

Me too. I can’t stream anything from my phone! It won’t register my Roku TV at all. I’ve did all the troubleshooting steps and even took down my security features connected to my WiFi, TV, &phone and still nothing.

  • Have you tried to remove > restart > reinstall the Roku app?
