Re: remote green light not working
That pressing the home and back buttons for 20 seconds did the trick. Thanks Siri, I mean Alexa!!

Re: remote green light not working
I am having the same remote green light not working issue. My model is RC-AL4 and pressing Home & Back buttons at the same for 20 seconds did not resolve the issue. Please advise of other possible solutions.
Thank you.

Re: remote green light not working
Hi!
I am having the same issue. I also have an RC-EL1 and the solutions given didn’t fix my issue. It was working fine and then suddenly wasn’t, it was not dropped or submerged. I tried hitting the back and home button and I am not able to get the green light to appear. Do you have any other solutions I could try?

Re: remote green light not working
Hi, @Carebear1
Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We appreciate you for letting us know about the issue you have experienced with your Roku remote, and we'd be happy to assist. Since the green light in the remote is not working, let's try to perform the steps below:
- If you have a Roku Voice remote with removable/replaceable batteries, kindly change it to the same battery size (2x AAA batteries).
- If you have a Roku Voice Remote Pro 1st or 2nd Edition, please charge it using the cord that came with the remote. From empty, a full charge takes 3 hours and typically lasts 2 months.
Once the information above has been performed, you can try to repair your remote to see if the green light pairing indication activates.
We hope this works, and let us know what you find out.
Best wishes,
Kash

Re: remote green light not working
I'm having the same issue with my RC-AL7 remote. My other remote connects (to my roku stick). I changed the batteries. Holding the back and home buttons hasn't worked. I hope you can help.

Re: remote green light not working
Did you hold them both down for 30 seconds at the same time? That’s all I did. Maybe unplug the power and plug it back in until you get to that step.

Re: remote green light not working
I have a Roku Voice remote with a Streaming Stick. The pairing button on the back does not come on at all, holding it for 20 seconds, 40 seconds, doesn't matter - no green LED at all. Charged via micro USB overnight and still no luck. Any suggestions for this, is my remote just dead?
