I am having the same remote green light not working issue. My model is RC-AL4 and pressing Home & Back buttons at the same for 20 seconds did not resolve the issue. Please advise of other possible solutions.
Thank you.
Hi!
I am having the same issue. I also have an RC-EL1 and the solutions given didn’t fix my issue. It was working fine and then suddenly wasn’t, it was not dropped or submerged. I tried hitting the back and home button and I am not able to get the green light to appear. Do you have any other solutions I could try?

I'm having the same issue with my RC-AL7 remote. My other remote connects (to my roku stick). I changed the batteries. Holding the back and home buttons hasn't worked. I hope you can help.
Did you hold them both down for 30 seconds at the same time? That’s all I did. Maybe unplug the power and plug it back in until you get to that step.
