Ive never had any issue with it before, and I put new batteries in, still nothing. I can't do anything with it. I am currently using the remote on my mobile app (on phone). any advice? magical info?

Note: If your voice remote has a pairing button, it will be located either on the back of the remote or under the battery cover.
If your voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 5 seconds to pair the remote.

Since you have the Roku mobile app installed, or another Roku remote that works with your streaming device, use the following steps to put your device into pairing mode from the Settings menu.
