Voice Remote Pro, Up cursor does not work

Jump to solution

Up cursor does not work it goes back to the app icon. Power button sends it back log on with the app. It is fully charge. My phone app works, so The Ultra works and the controller doesn't. I don't know how to check the software upgrade, if there is one. Thought maybe if it did, then it might work.

Hi @watermelongrin

Welcome to the Roku Community!

If the up cursor on your Roku Voice Remote Pro is not working, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

  • Check the batteries: Make sure that the batteries in your remote are fully charged and inserted correctly. If the batteries are low, replace them with new ones.
  • Reset the remote: Try resetting your Roku Voice Remote Pro. To do this, press and hold the pairing button on the remote for at least 5 seconds until the LED light on the remote starts flashing. Then release the button and wait for the remote to reset.
  • Check for interference: Make sure there are no obstacles or interference between the remote and the Roku device, such as other electronic devices or walls. This can affect the performance of the remote.
  • Check the Roku device: Make sure that your Roku device is working properly. Try using the up cursor on the Roku device itself to see if it's a problem with the remote or the device.

We hope it helps!

Warm Regards,
Lianna
